East Stroudsburg, PA – December 2018 – Patterson-Kelley (P-K), recognized market leader and manufacturer of heat transfer equipment, will introduce its first condensing commercial boiler with 10:1 turndown capability at the upcoming 2019 AHR Expo, being held in Atlanta, GA (January 14-16, 2019).
Patterson-Kelley has put system efficiency at the forefront of their boiler offering. By limiting turndown to 5:1, Patterson-Kelley can maintain the dewpoint as high as possible, which allows for greater condensation. Aggressive turndowns typically lower the dewpoint, which reduces condensation. However, in an application where the system is sized at a higher capacity than required, higher turndown, like 10:1, can accommodate the imbalance by turning down the input to match the required load.
“In an ongoing effort to provide the greatest value across all of our products, the ability to bring to market a 10:1 turndown feature allows us to not only broaden our scope in meeting the specifications and expectations of our customers but also reflects our ongoing efforts to provide the markets we serve with the most innovative, feature-rich, quality of products possible” said Michael Shrigley, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Patterson-Kelley.
“Higher turndown capability will provide designers the ability to match input to building loads with only a small sacrifice in the dewpoint. Patterson-Kelley will continue to emphasize system efficiency as the main focus in commercial heating system designs” added Dave Connors, Trainer & National Accounts Manager at Patterson-Kelley.
The Patterson-Kelley team is offering one-on-one meetings at their booth #B1454 during the AHR Expo to showcase and discuss P-K products, including the MACH® condensing boiler with 10:1 turndown capability. If you’re interested in learning more about a P-K product line or have questions, you’re strongly encouraged to request a meeting prior to the expo, by visiting http://info.harscopk.com/ahr-expo-2019.
